Gaining Attention is way or expression that is spoken so that other people will pay their attention to what we want to.

 Example:

      Attention, please!

      May/can I have your attention, please!

      Excuse me!

      Look here!

      Listen to me, please!

      Waiter!

      I’m sorry but…

      Wow, really?

      I’m listening.

Example:

Teacher: Attention, please. Today we will watch a movie in the self access center. What do you think?

Student: That’s great.
